well, as i said earlier i was debating on riding when it was 3 o clock, then i looked at the forecast and thought it was best to ride now, so off i go up to the yard, and tack up expecting a nice hack, i knew she was a bit excited as she kept chucking in a buck, but nothing you cant sit to
s we were having a very nice ride jumping some really nice jumps
when i decided to have a canter back through this path and then turn sharply up another nice path. so off we went into a canter as i turned the corner cassey was very very excited. she bucked about 3 times sending me forward, so i sat back and went forward again expecting a buck, when cassey just stopped and i flew straight over the side and hit a branch with my eye (which is pretty banged up and swollen atm) and then i hit the floor bent my finger and then rolled out the way of casseys path, who was suprising stood still
proud moment there, i got up a bit dillusional and quicker then usual as i suddenl remembered what had just happened, she nudged me until ii got back up and then i jumped back on lol and then carried on my canter up the hill, so i didnt lose any confidence, after that she was a star a bit jumpy but was fine!
reached the yard to find a mirror and i stared horribly at my eye and my slightly out of place finger :/ not in to much pain.
only my 2nd fall off cassey in the year i have had her and only my 3rd fall in 4/5 years of riding, i have to say this was the least painful as all my others were bad:
such as my first: bucked off into a indoor arena wall then my arm stood on, and second when cassey spooked at a dog i went off the side, kept hold of the reins :/ silly me. got dragged into a bush of very spikey looking things and then she finnaly stopped as i let go then she stood on my rib, (still have a scar) and then decided to jump over me
none the less, we enjoyed our hack afterwards
