I have an injury and i need sympathy

LOL

I was jumping Senza and as i went over the jump my finger nail got caught in her mane and was ripped off

The nail was still on but its been ripped away from my skin to half way down my nail. I felt sick it hurt so much!!

I got home and cut my nail so i didn't catch it on anything and rip it even further and i was nearly crying.

My nail is slowly turning brown now so will probably start to drop off soon

Moral of the story is DON'T HAVE LONG NAILS IF YOU HAVE HORSES!!

Ouchies ! Sounds horrid, but will probably be better when the nail comes away completely

Never done a finger nail before, but toe nails on several occasions so I can sympathise

I was wearing gloves to start off with but coz they were quite thick i couldn't feel the contact properly so i took them off.

Have chopped all my nails off now so i have man hands LOL

I have done a toe nail before too

Horse trod on me and then twisted ripping it off.

That was even worse as it was hanging on by a thread and i had to go to the hospital to get it removed as the doc said it might get infected.

I had to have 4 injections in my big toe and i made my mum hold my hand while i cried. Ha ha big woss!!

Owww! I used to have really long nails, but keep them reasonably short now.

I had this once when I was trying to load a horse (it was Otto) and he reared and the lead rope ripped my nail off. It took bloody ages to grow back, sorry! I have to say I cried, a lot, when it happened to me!

Alright mate

Not really, she cleared a lot more jumps than she did the other day but still launching herself like superman rather than making a nice shape. It doesn't matter how slowly we go into the jump, whether there is a pacing pole there, whether we get in deep or what. Its just not happening

I have tried everything and i am really at a complete loss as to what to do. I made Vicky give me a lesson and even she was stumped.

Trying to get a lesson with my instructor but she has been away and i dont think i can get one til Feb

OMG i feel sick i would put it is a plaster until it drops off i would have to that anyway to stop me from being sick! Hope it gets better soon tho!
