Have had a great day today doing my second ever HT, went to Downhouse and did the pairs with my friend and had a go at the 2ft 3 this time instead of the 2ft and there were some scary jumps along the way

I ended up going in front and only had 3 stops round the course

and my friend had a few stops too and as a result we got eliminated, but we jumped everything and got all the way round

It turned out that out of 15 pairs only 2 didn't get eliminated, and we were best of the rest, so I like to think we came third

Sorry no pictures of me jumping, although there should be some official ones in a day or 2, but these are the jumps that i really thought were beyond me so I am so thrilled to have jumped them

You must be very pleased with yourself and George!! Lots of carrots for him tonight. Those jumps should be a piece of cake from now on.

Still wishing I had done XC today...actually working at the minute - how has my life come to working on Sundays!!

Never mind, had a nice hack out on the baby horse this morning who was v good and Gully is sound, so all quite good really!

Well done! That steps into water looks scary, really well done to do those. I'm such a wuss at things like that, so can appreciate how nerve wrecking it must have been.

George is a star

Look forwards to the pro pics!

"Doesnt sound like much" my a@$e. If I managed even 1 of those jumps, ever, Id be beside myself with excitement. Fortunately Royal Cliche and I seem to have come to an understanding, 1 hoof on the ground at all times, thank you very much. Seriously, you and George are absolute stars, such a great team and I love your posts, your love for GG shines through and he seems to appreciate his Mum, always seems to look after you and tries his best. Onwards and upwards I think for you 2. Should I be booking a space by the lake at Badminton do you think, ready to catch a glimpse?
