So it's been just over 3 months since I sold Minnie, my wonderful 13.2hh mare.
I was feeling a little bit down on a drizzly Tuesday morning with the thought of looming coursework deadlines, muddy fields to be traipsed through and an empty car that needed filling with petrol; and so I decided to watch this "Goodbye Video" I made of our journey together http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1A6AM73NgA all the good and all the bad. It felt strange when it dawned on me that this was the first year in 4 years (just under 1/4 of my life!) that Minnie wasn't mine, she wasn't... there. And I got all emotional because you never REALLY realise how special something/someone really is/was until they've gone & watching that video just made me realise how incredibly lucky I am to be able to say that I've owned such an insane pony (insane in a good sense.. and a crazy sense).
So now I'm here just feeling the need to share this video because, I guess I'm proud; I'm proud of what we achieved, I'm proud I didn't give up on her like so many others did in her life & I'm proud to say that she was mine. (If you'd like to know more about our story then read the video description.)
Hm, mildly pointless post but I hope you like the video anyway!
