And its yet another colt  we were hoping for a filly, but you can't have everything.

He is a BUCKSKIN boy, but he does have rings around his eyes, so I think he will grey out.

photos taken at 12 hours old.

Thanks Cilla, he is a big strong foal and the second to be born by our stallion (not naming him, so I can't be accused of advertising). We still have 2 more to go, one of which will be a sports pony foal and the other our 3rd by our boy.

I am hoping I can catch up on some sleep now for a week or so. ;)

What a lovely, strong boy. His glasses give him a very studious expression, love it!
When is Candlelite due, it's a while yet, isn't it?

:D Diamond Pergola (his mum) has given us 5 foals, all colts and they all greyed out. On a positive note, they have all had the biggest jump and have grown into super young horses. She is the mother of Diamond Spectical who is one of the best performers we have bred so far. We are hoping this little boy will follow in his brothers foot steps.

Candle-lite is due on 5th July, 1 month, 1 week and 3 days, not that I'm counting or anything :D she is looking very well and definitely pregnant

Lovely foal he is going to be interesting to watch changing colours. Isn't 6 foals plus more to come greedy!!

He is very cute. I had one born that colour and he stayed that colour right up till this spring where he is finally greying out and even has some dapples for the first time in his life on his shoulders. He is 5 years old now and has been misnamed a buckskin/dun by everyone who has visited here over the years.
