As title really, girls have just rang me and said all four feet are very hot, they have rang the vet and are waiting for a call back from him!!

Could this be laminitis, with all this snow we have had his not eaten hardly any grass in the last few week....

The only thing that was done different last night was they had a free supply of hay.

Any help would be appreciated

The vet has just rung back..

We have been told that as long as he is walking ok and that he is standing ok and no pulse is found (which is all fine) its more than likely foot sore with the floor being hard with all the snow.

Has anybody else come across this.

Purely out of interest, is he having any feed that may contain soya, such as a balancer? Some of them have a lot of soya in them and in certain horses that can be a trigger for laminitis type episodes.
