We brought our chestnut boy home on the weekend and as the fields are so muddy we thought we'd take him for a leg stretch in the sandschool... It's lovely to be able to spend some time with him again and really focus on him - I've spent quite a bit of time just pottering around him in his stable, and although he can be nervy when you first go in he soon goes all doopy and really enjoys the attention

He was lovely and calm and easy to lunge today, especially considering the wind was howling and the rain pouring down in sheets!! He is finally finally starting to put on weight, he was so scrawny when he came and it seems to have taken forever, but we are getting there, slowly - he just needs some muscle now and he'll finally start to look like a proper horse!!

we haven't contacted the people you suggested about him yet mostly because we wanted to get him home and handle him for a while if that makes sense??

Makes perfect sense.

I think he's a really lovely stamp of a horse - and I really hope that you are able to find a super new home for him when the time comes
