Our Condolences...

I'm sick to the core of my stomach and absolutely furious on behalf of Hayley & Lily.
I hope they are able to drag this pathetic looser over hot coals in the civil court.
 
I thought the sentence the driver from our accident was pretty appalling, but this is just disguisting now. I do think things need to be looked at, and the punishment should shadow the suffering the family is going through now, and in the future.
Unfortunately, the judicial system doesnt see horses as pets, or part of the family, but just as a beast, like a cow or sheep. I know these people cant be done for death by dangerous driving, but I do think the point that they have killed something should go towards the punishment.
 
That is ridiculous, if it was 2 people walking down the road rather than riding they would probably be dead and he would be put away for a very long time.
But because he just injured them, and killed 2 horses he just gets that?!
 
I am so sick of reading posts like these about idiotic drivers who do not take care and pay attention when they're driving. :mad:

Sending my condolences to the family. Terrible way to lose your horses, and to not ride again. That man has effectively ruined this family's lives, and got away practically scott free! Damn, this country is full of wrong 'uns. :mad:
 
I hope the driver involved reflects very hard and very long every day of his life about the misery he caused. To me and many other horseriders/owners , my horses are my children and someone carelessly taking their lives would ruin mine forever. I hope the driver realises that.
