Our First Clear XC

[Gorgeous George]

George and I did a little hunter trial today (our 3rd), only small 2ft jumps (but big enough for now ), I decided to be a bit braver and kick on this time (cantering in open spaces scares me a bit ). So I was really pleased to canter all the way round (except for a bit where I thought the ground was really pot holey) and we went clear as well and even managed a gallop for the line Really thrilled and George seemed to be having a whale of a time, unfortunately we ended up with quite a few time penalties so didn't get placed but it gave my confidence such a boost. I suspect poor George has a bruise on his neck I patted him so hard

No photos at the moment, but there was a photographer there so I'll post them when they're available.
