I thought she did really well considering she has only been to one other piddly XC which was basically rustic showjumps in a field :p first ever water complex too, first ditches, first steps, pretty much first time she's done any of this stuff! Plus she got her little 14hh bum over a lot of the biggest fence options.

Here is a video of us today, It has pictures in it too so it counts as 'pictures', I did manage to loose my dad for most of the course but luckily found him for a fair bit of footage!

Her lovely new XC boots are now covered in mud like they should be :p

crit welcome, took me a while to adopt the best seat for drops and steps but got there eventually!

Can't believe she's managed to come back so well after her injury.

Wow she looks so good since that's her first time proper xc'ing! She's so pretty!
I can't believe I only live 5 mins away from aylesford but never been!

Looks like fun! She's gorgeous - What is she?

Thankyou, she is passported dutch warmblood, but breeding unknown so a bit of a mongrel really! She hasnt always looked so pretty :p

Unfortunatly due to tendon injury I was held back with rehab for a year with her but she's come back against all odds bless her. Hoping to do some low level eventing with her now

Rowy you must go it is fab ! :)

Just watched the vid, she looks gorgeous! Bit of a hairy moment with that water jump where she didn't look like she wanted to jump but went for it anyway. Well done for staying! Looks like so much fun and you both looked great :)

Well done, you both did brilliantly. She is such a pretty mare too.

It looks a lot of fun.We live nearby but haven't ever been, although I can just imagine knobberpony's face the first time she sees those jumps.I'll be taking spare dry clothes along as no doubt we'll need them.

I thought I was going to take a dunking !!

Probably a good thing there is music covering what I shouted ;)

What a lovely, honest, helpful girl she is! Well done - those hedges were pretty meaty. Very jealous I've always fancied those animals by the water :p

Did you buy her off a lady over Tamworth way?
Love the video - she looks great!

Yes I did, she was called Sinta when I bought her- From a lady called Karen Mason (From what I can remember). Do you know her then? :)

Thanks for all the replies, can't wait to go again and try the rest of the course!

Shes such a star she tries her hardest , didnt expect her to jump the hedges with my dad standing on the other side with a camera stuck in his face tbh ! It scared me when I saw him haha. Dont tend to realise how wide the xc fences are until you are halfway over

Yes, I thought I recognised her! I know Karen well, my girl came from her too and looks very similar to yours.

Did you see her while she was at Karens then? She can't be mistaken with her little spot on her neck :) ! Seems like a lifetime ago I went to view her, feels like ive always had her lol
