I took Misty, my little section a, to her first show yesterday- I was pretty nervous because it was my first inhand show. She loaded beautifully (hasn't been in a horse box for years!) and took everything in her stride. Unfortunately in her class she came 5th...out of 5 
but I was so proud of how she behaved that I really didn't care, and besides I took her for the experience not to win 
I was worried about how she was going to react in the ring because there were 2 broodmares in the class with foals who were acting like typical cheeky foals but she didn't bat an eyelid at them. She walked and trotted calmly around the ring despite all of the new sights/sounds and smells and loaded beautifully again on the way home. Sorry but I just had to share this with someone because I was just so proud of how she behaved!

She certainly took a liking to the field, it had recently been cut for hay so there were bit of hay left which she kindly cleaned up for them
