We brought the horses in at tea time, as always and the Old Lady had her trug of grass. Sister was shifting some muck from round the Old Lady's feet, when the gang of three texel cross sheep, managed to make a break for it and bundled into the Old Lady's stable  The Old Lady used to share a stable with an elderly Ryeland ewe, but has not had much to do with the new loutish lot! She stood like a rock, with her head still in the trug, never so much as lifted a hoof at the rabble, waiting until sister managed to chase them back out. It was a good job they didn't try sharing with The Big Mare, I think we would have had mashed sheep
The Old Lady really is a forgiving soul :)

She is, which is why she can get away with most things these days :D She wanders round the yard, comes to find out why we haven't got her tea to her soon enough and all sorts of other liberties, but she has earned them all :D
