B@stards, I am fuming, and feel violent and sick....all leather work gone, saddles and bridles, but nothing else (rugs, boots, hats, apart from my collection of spurs). I cannot believe it, sometime between 7.30 and 10, they damn well knew what they were doing, and they stole mine and my friends wheelbarrows.

Does anyone know of any horse fairs on tomorrow? My beautiful Butet has gone along with my Sabre, my very distinctive Cotswold Sport red and black bridle, all my spurs, another 3 bridles, my Back On Track black numnah and then there are at least another 8 people's stuff too AND to aid more misery, my damn wheelbarrow

It has my name on it.

I know how you feel from when our tack room was cleared a couple of years ago. They also knew what they were doing - ripped the master blaster alarm off the wall & threw it in a bucket of creasote. Makes you feel sick, angry & violated. Hope you manage to find some of it. We unfortunately didn't

Yes, I did post a warning the other day as the next village was hit - me being a lazy bitch left my 2 saddles tonight as I am/was riding at 8am and I almost turned back to get them but wanted to get home

I'm feeling your anger Weezy.
I had my tack stolen some years ago on Appleby weekend.

The whole disruption of not being able to ride, having to get a police number etc. is just a massive pain in the butt.

Not being too far off, we took a drive up there to no avail.

I hope your insurance pays out and you get youself sorted with replacements soon.

This is my nightmare and you feel ********!!!

Hope your insurance is different to mine, but it only goes up to £1000 for tack! That won't be enough to replace the saddles sadly. Never mind other stuff.
