So, after having a practice yesterday, then bathing, polishing the carriage, etc etc we were ready to go!! I plaited him this morning, it wasnt a requirement but it looked better than the bog brush on his neck!! Left a few minutes later than planned, but got there with good time to spare.
Firstly I had to collect our number, then walk the cones.
Then it was the dressage! Now when I was riding, we could have a caller, but no such luck with driving, so I had to remember it!! And remember it I did!! he was such a good boy, had some really nice comments, and some nice constuctive ones too. I know he is slightly overbent and its something we are going to be working on. But he went where he was asked, and there was no real problems.
Onto the cones, in hindsight I should of turned a circle before going through as we knocked the first 2 down, he was getting very much ahead og me by then! but it was just the first 2, no problems anywhere else!
Had a break after that where we had to go and walk the obstacles, there were 2 that were both driven twice. And he was again a little star! He definately enjoyed it after he spooked at the first couple of gates!!
In the end we came 3rd, got a rossie, and came home very very happy!!
Hope pictures have come up, cant quite work out how to do it!!
