Our vizsla wants a boyfriend!

....our vizsla wants a girlfriend!! :-) We too are dedicated Vizsla lovers and Muttley, our 3 year old male vizsla, is utterly wonderful. Fun, fab with children, cuddly, handsome, playful and all things you could ever want from a dog. He always has something in his mouth and is beside himself whenever we come through the front door!! We too have been toying with the idea of breeding him purely because we would love another one and believe his nature should live on.... but have as yet to find a girlfriend for him!! He has a long full pedigree and we bought him when we lived in Germany and have now returned back to the UK. Having bought him in Germany we can't get him KC registered but he is a wonderful specimen and would no doubt have wonderful puppies. It is possible to register a dog in the Uk even if it is born in another country. A lot of the dogs shown at Crufts nowadays come from overseas, as long as you have all Muttleys papers it shouldn't be a problem.
On a slightly more negative note, I would think long and hard about using him at stud, sometimes when dogs discover what "it" is for they become somewhat obsessed, and if they haven't got regular bitches coming to them its not really fair.
