Havnt posted for ages so thought i would let u all know how were going!!
Saturday we had a lesson with our new trainer and the boy was amazing. Started working him in as ive always done and then she started giving us some tips on how to get a bigger trot and canter! By the ebd of the lesson he was working so much better from behind and actually carrying himself!!
Sunday - Had entered a novice and a elem test at a local centre so left hime at 3 as we had late time.
Warmed him up for the novice trying to be bold in the trot and canter as we had practiced the day before and he went very well - Got 71% and came 3rd! Not bad for our 1st test since Oct!!
Then we had a gap for the elem - had a bit of a wobble before hand - should i go in and make a fool out of myslef - didnt think he had gone that great in the 1st test and neither of us had done an elem before - but decided to give it our best shot! Did the test in sitting as we had some leg yeilding and i found that much easier sitting - and guess what we won with 68% and had quite a few 8's as well. So was so pleased with him as there were some much more experianced dressage combination there than us!!
Just one little pic
