Well, Billy seems to enjoy this lark of out all the time!
He didn't come up for breakfast this morning, at 7am, and when I went to see him at 9am he was still lying down :p
He is almost a new horse, completely happy and relaxed 100% of the time, and loves his donkeys!

I found him like this

I think he was making sure he was getting a good rest :p
PS. I know he looks very ribby, it is a work in progress!!
:)

Glad he's settled to his new routine. It all looks too much for him! ;)

All mine live out in the summer and thrive on it :) We turned a 6 month old calf out with one this morning who has taken delight in chasing him round the field! I left them with the calf standing with his head in the hedge thinking that if I can't see her she can't chase me!

Hahahaha!! :D Love it!!

I used to have a horse who would worry the weight off when stabled, but thrived on being out. When we were competing my old farrier described him as more fit than most of the race horses that he shod ;)

lol, i think chilled is the best word, it took 10 minutes to persuade him to get up :p

Grass isn't even that great, although everything was off it for a month which helped :)

Appears to be the same pose, although Merlin was a little more smiley :p

Lol I think he is! :D

he proceeded to tell me this morning that he felt soo good, as when we went into canter I had no control, and it took 15 laps of the school to slow down  :D
