Which turned into 3.5 hrs!!

We just kept going! Dogs were mental chasing each other! Thought they would conk after first few fields but they kept it up the whole walk!

Was fab to be out very crisp ground was very hard under foot.
Also walked past a wall which I fell off at out hunting & took some pics of it! Oh & of course some pics of the mutts!!

Oh advanced warning I took way too many pics!

Lovely house I will buy if my numbers come up!! Even though it burnt down years ago killing a witch that lived there! (No I am not joking on the witch part) We had a sheep dog that use to fly past here, she did not like being there, though my 2 didn't seemed bothered!

The wall I kind of crashed through & then parted company at! It was a little lower than the original wall hight but not as much as it is now!

Side of view of approach showing you had to bounce it over ditch!

Hill rode up before wall, you can see hoof marks!

Back to dogs!

Stream under track with Chewie!

Quail rolling in something nasty! Just glad it was frozen so didn't stick! She slid down hill rolling which was sooo funny!
IMG_1231.jpg

Quail found a hare mask, though didn't retrieve it (as I wouldn't let her) unlike the rabbit skelton earlier!

Crashed out in front of fire back at base!
IMG_1234.jpg

I swear Chewie would lie on fire if she could!

Otto has been crached out all day, after his 40 min walk this morning and his half hour walk tonight, 3.5 hours would kill him!!

Although both he and I would love that fire at the end of it!

Lovely pics, don't you love having dogs which joyously present you with all manner of foul things!
grin.gif

Thank you both!

Was a fab walk, I dread to think how many miles they did compared to us!!

I was just glad it was frozen!! So no smell or bits falling off!
Though on way back 1.5 hrs later she sprinted to the exact spot looking for it again! She has one heck of a memory!! Not sure if that good or bad!?

Can't beat a proper fire! Think I crimpled my Auntie who came with us!

I love your dream house, what a great spot! Fingers crossed you DO win the lottery!
smile.gif

The one thing I would add to where we live as it's just about perfect, would be the moors; I love moors and the freedom to ride the drover trails; we haven't anything like that around here so I'm very jealous!

Fabulous pictures!

I always say that Bess does at least five times more distance than us when we walk her over our fields. They never stop eh?

The only time I take the other dog, my house Cocker, up the fields is in the height of summer and weather like now...frozen. I can't abide smell, muck and mud to cling to his coat daily, especially when he likes to plonk himself on my pillow of an evening!
grin.gif

Plus no neighbours!! You have to drive down a 3 mile track at least to get to it! Or 6 long field walks from the nearest village!!

Freddy would be in his element there! I must say that the country round me here is wondfull! LOL

Oh they must of done at least 5 times what we did! They haven'tmoved all night since having their tea! Perfect! Going back tomorrow for more!

Then Quail will be working on Monday so hopefully will be calmeras burt all excess energy off! I can hope!

Well they get the cheapest dog food! £6 a 20kg sack! Though I do add seaweed & apple cider vinegar which are great for coat condition but I think it may be duvet polish!!
Was suppose to be a short one but like I said we just kept on going!

How is Quail getting on with her work?

Am back out on Monday will be our 3rd & last day of the season (depending on what day beaters day lands) all the other days have landed on hunting days & we haven't cancelled any that he was shooting
smirk.gif

She's OK it's just her numpty owner!

How are your lovely bunch doing?

Mine would be wrecked after 3.5 hours
smile.gif

They are all fab

Tina is getting it very easy this season. Poor oldgirl feels her age now. Very impressed with Cindy her main problems are she can't work with Tina (Lets Tina do the hard work of marking and gettnig bird etc then runs out and takes it off her
mad.gif
) and instead of marking while we shot she lies down and goes to sleep! Cheeky monkey. But apart from that, she is fab

I thought mine would slow down on way round but they didn't!
But they haven't moved much since getting home!
wink.gif

Am going to do the same again tomorrow & hope that it will take some of the edge off Q for Monday! Knowing my look it will have the opposite effect though!
Was contemplating doing it in the morningbut seeing as I have to be at shoot for 9am! Not going to happen!

Cindy is to wise! Why should she do all the hard work when she can steal the glory at the end! Though I do understand your fustration!
Give her time I'm sure you will succeed!
smile.gif

Thank you! I feel like I can bore you all some more from next time!

Oh they have lots of adventures!! haha Usually at my expense!
