out of date wormer

ive got a wormer that expired last august, would you use it?

I have a friend who works for a veterinary drugs company. He gave me a box of wormers that were out of date, apparently they last 5-10yrs past sell by date (guess it depends which wormer). He said the companies mark the sell by date short so they get more sales.
