Out of Hours call out fee

Sorry about your pony.
I had an OOH call out in March. The way my bill was itemised, it included the standard callout of £40 + an out of hours premuim of £100. This was listed as "pre 11pm" so I assume it would have been more had it been after 11pm.

The funny thing is that I figured it would be around the £500 mark so I don’t know why it felt like a shock? Just seeing it on paper with the breakdown is abit meh. It’s made me sadder than I thought it would to be honest (not the money, just the situation). Thanks all for your responses.

I actually couldn't face seeing M's bill for the same.

I did a bank transfer for the approx amount and overpaid by about £40 so when the bill came it fortunately missed off all the detail and just showed me in credit.
