Out of interest, how does your horse score?

My big girl is about 3 at the moment and my shettie, about 4

best get him on that diet!

Mine is a 3-4 but i want her a definitee 3 but at the moment she is not getting as much as she needs as i am away at uni and so mum exercises her but can only do that 3-4 times a week. In 6 weeks time i'll be home for 4 months so she'll be getting fitter and thinner but i may need the superglue then!

I think flash is about a 3, I'm quite pleased with his shape, especially since I was told I'd never get weight on him

think Maddy is a 2-3 at the moment, I'd like to see more topline on her but she is getting old and not in as much work because of her arthritis

Mines a 4 at the moment - Came out of the winter rather too well! Now the evenings are lighter we can both do a bit more exercise...

Jerry is a 2 at the mo. (Not bad for a late 30's Anglo Arab after winter! ) I would like to see another 20kgs on him, which he should do on the spring grass and if Milly stops eating his food! lol

Milly is about 3.5 at the mo (gready piggy!) So, I would like a bit more off her.

Between 3 and 4 - but one is a gypsy cob and one is a clydesdale and they are supposed to be chunky and gypsy cobs should have an "apple bum" - they are certainly not fat and my vet is very pleased with the condition, indeed he said not to drop any more off them - they really are big boned as opposed to podgy.

Two big mares are 3
New gelding is 2
Pregnant arab is a 2.5 and, like, Cloud a plus size around the middle.

I would say a 4 looking at that scale, but nothing really wobbles on her!

She has a little too much on her tummy but her shoulders and bottom and neck are all solid and mucular. She is fed thin air pretty much though and has a bit of time off due to my work - on an intense summer fitness regime as of no!

A couple at 2, the rest at 3-4. The two older ones are 2's, so am pretty pleased with them just now

Two at 4, need working! But overall, they are good.

Funnily enough, I asked the vet to score Marius the other day when she did his jabs, and she said 'Good. A three to four'. She said the four was his neck, but he always has a bit of a crest.

These replies have made me feel a whole lot better about my boy, who is a 2-3. He dropped a bit of condition over winter and wasn't ridden for about 3 months due to factors beyond our control, so muscle tone has gone a bit too. But he is feeling well in himself and has plenty of energy, so I figured he must be ok. It's reassuring to see that there are others in the same boat!
