Out of interest is this pony overpriced??

Has it HOYs potential? Is it a potential JA? In that case, could be a bargain!!! Only kidding! Probably just average potential, so VERY overpriced!

Hmm pop along to beeston horse market any wednesday, perticularly in winter coloureds are lucky if they make £1000

Crazy amount.

The outside rein DOES "steer" to a certain extent, especially on the rein the horse is more hollow on (ie when riding on the right rein if the horse is hollow to the right) You should support the outside shoulder with the outside rein and initially use it to turn the horse, otherwise the shoulder falls out. The inside rein provides the bend but shouldn't be soley used for steering or again you lose the shoulder. This does NOT mean the horse goes around with outside bend though, a straight neck is fine to start with but as suppleness increases then so will the inside flexion.

For that price I'd want something with a proven competition history, double clears a plenty and some winnings on its card, For what you've described i'd be willing to pay £1200 but only if I really liked it and thought it would excel with time and effort put in.

so it can't bend and it's doesn't school nicely on the flat... but it jumps?
well it's never going to win anything if it can't turn a circle!! if it didn't rear i'd say £1500, but if you wanted to compete it, and it rears in stressful situations ie a show, i wouldn't give them anywhere near £1500... let alone £7k!
i might try to sell them mine though.. i could make a fortune
