Out of interest... What do you pay...

I pay 15 per week per stable but this is discounted as I have 8 horses. For that I am on my own in the yard with no hassle from anybody else, but my stables have a damp floor problem when it rains heavily. I get a 7 acre field & access to decent riding, but no alternative grazing so I have to look after what I've got. I do all my own field maintenance. The farmer will repair stable doors etc but I have been nagging for a month now to get a repalcement strip light in the barn as it is playing up & mucking out in the dark isn't fun!

I pay £150 for the first horse and a get a small discount for my second horse (per month for DIY)

This includes stable, water, turnout (24/7 in summer), 40x60 outdoor school with full set of showjumps, cross country course and schooling field, woodland ride, heated kitchen, showers toilets, and heated tackroom.

We pay extra for hay/bedding if we require an services.

I think its a reasonable price as i love where i keep my 2!

I pay extra for hay, straw etc.
It is a bit shabby and the school sometimes floods, but the horses are happy there.

In summer, its a 12 acre field, with the other 4 24/7. A very small school (conversion) approx 15m x 20m. We have to buy our own hay, bedding, feed etc.

£20 per week for stable and (summer) grazing. No real winter turnout although we do have a small turnout paddock you can use for a couple hours.

£11 per week for haylage but only in winter as she is out 24/7 in summer. Haylage is super quality and there is plenty of it.
