Just reading the horse price thread.. Probably coming to the end of the season with my mare because I'm feeling quite pregnant! So just wondering roughly how much she is worth because I have no clue!

16 hands 4yo, ISH. 3/4 bred with decent breading (green book, by clover brigade). Quite nicely put together abd pretty but nothing amamzing. Professionally broken, going really nicely in all three dicaplines, getting around 70% in her tests. Going nicely SJ will pop 80cm course. Bold XC jumping water ditches etc.

Extremely easy to ride / do. Hacks alone / company only thing is she's not seen much traffic yet.

What do you think? We've invested about 4k in buying / breaking her.

Meant to say, she'd be ready for BE80 now (if I wasn't up the duff)

I will take a stab and say about 6k but that would jump up if you did some BE classes on her with some good results.

Value absolutely depends on her temperament IMO . If she's anyone's ride, great to hack on own and in comp, easy to do in every way, she's worth a lot more than a mare who is opinionated and tricksy.

She is really easy and good. She's bucked me off once when she hadn't been ridden for a week and I didn't lunge her first but other than that she hasn't put a foot wrong. I think she will be a really straight forward confidence giving type horse, probably not a world beater but a really nice allrounder / grass roots eventer.

She's plain bay not ginger unfortunately. She's a bit of a boring colour but very easy to clean!

I've made the decision to stop riding her now, I'm not feeling very motivated and too tired! So she will have 6 months off now.. and hopefully come back into work and still be a good girl next year. I hope she doesn't forget everything over the winter!
