I had every intention of leaving mine out last night. Trouble is, my stables are actually in the field, where they have all day access to them.
Went out to put rugs on them, and found they had put themselves into their correct stables,(all three of them) and refused to come out. They are obviously not ready to do without their comforts just yet.
Needless to say, slave duly went and got them their hay and food as normal.
Mines had rug off for a while but still in at night. He was out by Easter last year problem is just no grass at all in field so he'd be hungry if not in. SO wish he could go out saveing me ton of money but oh well hence me desparate to move him or rent my own field just no joy there.
I hate leaving mine at the gate too my tb looks at me as if to say you bad parent im goin to phone the RSPCA and tell them about you, then i look further up and my mini shetland is looking at me the same because she dont get fed but the other one does, but by the time i have got down to the yard and got in my car they are both happy munching on the grass and dont look to bothered by it.
Mines been out for about 10 nights and loves it, much prefers the field to her room. Not much grass but I give her a feed each day, will feed more if she loses a bit. It's what nature intended anyway. I'm sure he'll be just fine by now lol xxx
