Hi, im looking at putting a new arena in. Does anyone have any idea at roughly one would cost. Im just looking at a 20x40, nothing fancy in the midlands area.

All depends on the surface you use. The posher the surface, the more expensive it gets. Best to phone around for a few quotes.

it will just be silica sand with a rubber or similar top up.

my 30x60 cost us £13k but my dad did it himself !!

We had ours built 2 years ago nearly 20x50m sand and rubber and was 18.5k BUT prices have gone up alot not as has haulage

We had a sand/rubber arena built last year, cost about 17k. we were really confused about the best way to go about it but Springride Surfaces (got the rubber from them) gave us really good advice on do's and dont's and the best sand to use etc. Don't cut corners and put the right drains down for your ground type.

sorry - forgot to mention we are in South Lincs - very close to silica sand place so less haulage there for us

i live in Staffordshire and had mine built last year and is fibre sand mix with rubber chips on top 20x40 and just lovely very pleased with it, i think it finshed out about £15-£16K your welcome to come have a ride on it if you don't live far away?? I can give you the name of who built it also if you'd like?

desperatly wanting a 20 x 40 and the most frustrating part is that my dad could do it himself!!

its 30 x 60 - took about a year to do it but its fantastic and never has a puddle in it !!!

cost us 13k but my school is massive !!
