After chatting with the vet today Polly is going for an ovary scan next week. The last few days she has suffered from colic-type symptoms that dont appear to be colic. She is pawing the ground, kicking out and pacing the stable. Then she goes and eats her hay for a bit, comes over for a chat, then starts again. Pooing normally. She also did this a few weeks back and it coincided with her season starting. She is due back in season now.
Anyone had similar? Im really worried about her tonight, shes just not herself at all. She also exhibits very strong seasons and can be quite difficult to handle at the time. Never really dangerous or rude, just completely mind not on anything else. Certain geldings seem to be able to trigger her off in a matter of minutes aswell and she will pace the fence line for hours if she knows there is a boy nearby.
