As mentioned on front page of HH today. Anybody use them? Are they material (ie. stretchy) or like rubbery things?

Basically Im thinking they sound quite good for fitting to my Welsh Cob who Ive still had problems getting usual over-reach boots to fit! Nothing seems to fit his huge wide feet, they seem to end up looking like mini skirts on his feet! And he does clip his front quite a lot (only recently been shod this year so still getting the hang of them!).

i have used them afew years ago when working in a SJ yard! i wanted some for my horse last winter but everyone thought i was mad when iwas asking form them in tack shops. they are a big pain to get on much like non velcro over reach boots (broke many nails!!!!) once on are gd there is the potential for them to ride up and do nothing. my ned has very large wide feet too and i often use over reach boots several sizes bigger she is 15.2 and wears XL or L (rubber velcro ones) depnding on make

A copule of YOs SJers used them, they are hard to get on but once one they do tend to stay in place. They are like a big ring of rubber

OH uses them on the SJers, pain to get on but they do stay put - ours get taped over at comps

Hmmm... might not work for my boy then as he can be an utter shite at competitions. Its hell to get studs in him let alone mess about pulling boots on too...... guess Ill go order some extra full rubber usual ones!

Can you not just wrap his feet? We use sooper dooper duct tape at the yard for foot issues, you could prob use it in a cheap and quick method rather than buying the bands?
