Over reach boot recommendations please

I normally just buy the cheap rubber and velcro ones (about £4-6 a pair) but they don't seem to be lasting very long so I was thinking about some heavier duty ones - can anyone recommend some good ones please?

I have a pair of Eskadron ones which have lasted well over a year, including turnout and daily use by a horse who is a chronic over reach boot destroyer.

Thanks Halfstep - are those the ones with or without sheepskin round the top? Do they have a anti-move bobble thing on?

I use them for schooling and then when they get a bit tatty for turnout too.

I have a couple of eskadron ones and they are brilliant- as halfstep says.

However I did have an issue with one horse as they didnt fit him- so he wears Woof Wear Kevlar and they are good, but not as tough. They look tired after 4/5mnths use

I have some professionals choice neoprene wrap round ones - they are donkeys years old, and are still going strong.

I do still use cheapy ones for turnout if I need to - I would much prefer to loose a cheapy boot than any of the more expensive ones!!

I recently bought Ted has a pair of Westropp over reach boots-the ones with the petals, that make a lot of noise when trotting!

I find them very useful, although I bought them as I have fond memories of the noise they made and using them as a teenager in SJ and XC competitions with my 2nd pony. They are however fiddly to do up, but do their job well.

i use eskadron sheepskin ones for ridden and premier equine ones for turnout-the latter are 3 years old, used and washed daily for the last 4 months(horse has allergy issues on his pink skin so everything HAS to be washed every day) and they still look fab, velcro still strong etc.when these finally die ill def be investing in another PE pair

Have gone through quite a selection with my guys when they needed them for turnout. If you need serious destruction proof overreach boots - go for the Kevlar Woof Wear ones. They are the only ones that I got any decent life span with.... all others were lucky to last few days never mind weeks....
