My horse has managed to knock all of her foot off so much so that the farrier cant find anywhere to put a nail in he said it was the equivalant of just having you cuticle left. She had no loose shoes and then the next day i came up and one front and a back where missing so i called him and between that and him coming two days later she lost the other back one, so he has had to just take off the last remaining front and neaten them up and hope they grow a bit by the time he comes a week on monday otherwise he will glue them. He said though i need to get some over reach boots, she is out 24/7 apart from when i bring her in to feed and groom etc. So i need some boots suitable for alot of use will the rubber type ones rub? What would anyone suggest? Thanks

I use the rubber ones but my boy is only out 12 hours a day, the neoprene ones hold the water etc and I found the rubbed worse. If they start rubbing I normally put babby oil on his fur so the slide as opossed to rub hope that makes sence

Che has over reach boots on 24/7 through summer and during the day in winter. I have several pairs, some neoprene ones which he wears during very warm dry days and rubber ones, some have a fur top edge. I have them in slightly different sizes, (depends what make they are as to how big they come up) and I swap them round each day. This is his second year wearing them full time and so far, no rubs. One tip, use white ones in winter, they are easier to find when they come off in the mud!!
PS just looked at your link, I use the Bridleway ones and theyre fine.
