Bought a brand new pair of PE OR boots at the beginning of the season in Large but they were too small round wb fetlock. So, passed them onto one of the other horses and got the XL PEs. I was a bit concerned about the length at first outing but was assured by friends and helpers they were ok. Came back from xc and they were shredded on the back so badly I thanked my lucky stars she hadn't tripped herself up.

So looking to replace and probably with Mark Todd competition but does anyone have some advice on the sizing? i.e. I need something pretty generous round the top but not too long at the back for a 16.2hh belgian warmblood. (I have some battered old cheap HKMs which fit perfectly but they are not as robuts as the PE ones). Any advice on size (or other brands) gratefully received.
