I must have tried every different make out there and the ones that really stand up to some hard work are the Mark Todd ones. Very good value at approx £18.95.
Bearing in mind I have quite a few horses in hard work I would say that 1 pair used at least 4 times a day have lasted nearly a year! Fantastic.
A definate thumbs up from me
I have the Trizone ones for xc which are the ones that have the anti spin bit on them. However, they spin! Not good. But good quality, and look like they'd last. Maybe I'm just unlucky with them spinning.
I have found that PE wrap around overreach are brilliant for schooling in, I also use Sprenger rubber pull on overreach for hacking & use in the field, just purchasing another pair as my big boy has finally worn them out after 3 years!
I like the Woof Wear Kevlar ones, but that could be because they're about the only ones that fit my big lad & don't have an anti-spin device (the damn things rub him in a matter of minutes).
