Over reach injury

My gelding has this on his front right leg
Think it is an over reach injury
We have cleaned it and put silver spray on it
Is there anything else we should be doing and can he still be ridden
Showing no signs of pain or lameness

Looks very much like an overreach injury. I use sudacreme. If horse goes lame get vet. Mine needed antibiotics.i wouldn't ride til its properly healed and then only with overreach boots on. Contact farrier and see if you can get hind shoes removed until it heals.

Looks like an over reach. Keep it clean but don't put anything on it as that will delay healing.

My old pony had a similar injury in the exact same place from getting tangled in electric fencing. Silver honey cream and vet wrap. Difficult area as the wound moves every time the horse moves. Best of luck!
