Hello
I've just sent my AQH passport off to the SHBGB to be over-stamped so he can compete in hand (he is only 2). But next year my yearling will be 2 so his PP will need an over stamp but I also want to show him in colour classes with the palomino society which requires his passport to be over-stamped plus if I want to do any British show pony and horse society classes another over stamp is required!! (sorry if I have the names wrong on the society or association etc I'm having a none sleeping night so excuse the lazy brain 😵‍💫)

Thanks in advance x

What class do you intend on putting him in? It is rare that a horse can do BSPS and SHBGB classes. Unless you mean the BSHA? (no ponies).
Also an American quarter horse is unlikely to be the right type for SHBGB or BSHA.

Yes, I did mean BSHA which is why I put that it's probably wrong but my brain was not working properly due to no sleep.
It was only a question about over-stamps and meant light-hearted as I could picture it looking like they are well travelled!

Actually, the AQH makes a very nice riding horse unfortunately people in the UK always think of cowboys and western. They excel in many disciplines the AQH is basically a nice solid TB with a brain and wonderful temperament, depending what lines you go for will depict what type and size you get. Halter horses in the US are like prize bulls, pleasure horses can be taller and the working stock lines ground cover and are sharper. Another breeder friend has ranch breeding they are the most versatile and has two SJ in Sweden with the Swedish team coach.

My friends and old bosses who show and win at the highest level are the ones who have bugged me to show them. So my partbred mare who is SHBGB reg and her x bred foal will do a few rounds this year and my two year old colt will also be striding out in the sports horse young stock classes

A ridden horse is very different to a riding horse in showing terms. A riding horse is a very definite type that sits between a hack and a light weight hunter
id be very interested to know the name of this quarter horse winning riding horse classes as I will admit they are not generally the type for a Riding horse class.
