You can buy Drontal cat over the counter from pharmacies or online.
The pet shop ones are not effective.

I now what you mean, i havent tried from pet shops for years, which was why i asked just in case they had uped their game so to speak!

Drontal & panacur can be purchased without prescription so can be bought online or at some pharmacies (even at out village Co-op pharmacy) much cheaper than from a vet. 50% cheaper sometimes.
Milbemax, Advocate & stronghold are prescription only so from a vet or with a script.
