Over the moon with my boy

Well took DA to a local riding school for their unaff jumping last night, decided to play it by ear & see how he coped. So arrived and he was quite nervy as you would expect as there was a lot going on & lots of noisy kids. So warmed up & after about 30 mins he had settled down really well so put a pole on the ground between the wings & he literally cleared it by 4 feet!

So after working over the pole we worked up to jumping the same height as the NovNov (5th hole in the wing I'll have you know!

)

So decided to take him into the ring & see what he thought. He was a total star we had one refusal as someone dropped something in the gallery & he shot sideways. I can't tell you how thrilled I am with him, he gave every jump about 3 feet clearence!

And a huge well done to my Mum who jumped Gus round the NovNov as she was told 3 years ago that she might not ride again after a really nasty fall
