Overheight Connemaras

I have an overheight connemara that i want to show at county level. What classes would anyone recommend? He isnt a fine connie and has quite alot of bone. He would be eligible for 15hh workers but does anyone have any flat classes they could suggest? Thankyou

welcome to the over sized connie club! well mines a connie x tb! but some how is 16'2 and he's not 4 until May, so god know how big he will get! his dad was 14'2 mum was 15'3

Im not sure class wise as id say he might be little heavy for shp but then im not convinced hes right for small hunter

I could just take him off your hands then you wouldn't have the problem? 😁

My connie is 15.1hh but lost all his dapples and is fleabitten now, but still beautiful <3

Ooh he's lovely! It depends where you go I think. I have a haflinger and some people literally can't enter them into any class but we seem to have classes for most people locally and at big shows like equifest. Things like 'open novice' are good if you haven't been showing much before and therefore no recent winnings.

He is too big for county connemara and too much like a connemara for anything else at county level so you will probably struggle at county level finding him a suitable class
