Owning a horse but not riding.

I feel I’m heading this way with my mare. She’s currently having some vet investigations- CT next week for sinus issues. She’s out in a small herd and seems very happy currently and I’m quite enjoying not having to ride.
 
Your horse doesn't have a diary, or read H & H, nor does she heed social media......... so don't worry, she is quite unaware of the fun rides and horse shows and clinics going on in the area!! She is however very aware of what time you come to feed her each day, of night and day and the general pattern of her life. As long as you don't allow her to get fat, have the vet and farrier when needed (oh, and dentist ) I am sure she will be very happy.
