Owniversary!

Bump for Alec ;)

No recent pics of him in work, his tracking is taking a back seat as he needs long tracks, but have very few places with no stock on at this time of year (he is hunting, not tracking :o), obedience/attention is very good (Needs a bit of work on not fidgeting/not squeaking in long down :p) he has restarted manwork, and is doing really well thanks to me being more clear about what I have to do. Still bloody noisy but his grips are strong and calm, you can't have everything!!!!
Excellent with people (even the decoys when they are off duty :D), other dogs, a very happy chappy, can take him anywhere.

Regarding B, for anyone who is interested, he is now on Chappie. He impacted quite badly after a week on WET Winalot (told you he was weird!!!) and needed an enema :(
Doing better now though.

Impacted:eek: bloody hell, he is weird!:p Winalot Poo-Alot is normally guaranteed.:D

C_C,

he's kept, or maintained a lovely eye. It's probably the first thing that I look for! He's lost his puppy face, and looks older than his 16 months. A lovely strong head. He obviously makes eye contact with you..... VITAL.

His pasterns? As you once said, it didn't trouble his father, so it shouldn't trouble him. It would be interesting to see how his sire is, when he reaches old age. Has his sire been used at stud extensively? It would be interesting to see pics of his siblings, if there are any, not from the pastern's view point, but their general shape.

Looking at him, he's the sort of dog, I suspect, where his aggression wont need testing. He looks like he has all the inbuilt confidence that he needs. Generally, they get that from their upbringing, well done you, and I mean it, he's a grand looking dog.

Alec.

Thanks Alec :)

His Daddy has been used quite a lot :o I've only met two other progeny, his litter brother and one from a different bitch, and they are both tall, grey and very upright in the legs with quite coarse heads. The sire is actually out of work at the moment, but for a snapped tooth, believe it or not.
I've done a lot of sand work and swimming with him so hopefully that has helped.
He's only really just started on the jump and the A-frame (wanted to see his plates first, they look fine to me, were sent to Germany in February, ho hum!!)

He is generally a very confident dog. He will wuff when the door goes or when he sees something not as it should be :p but like I say, is fine with our 'criminals' once they have all the gear off and are giving him a pat on the head, can take him anywhere, he had four days away with me at a trial and show a few weeks ago and he is off to an agricultural show next week.
