Tonight my lovely horse gave me friction burns all across the top of my leg. I took him into stable and tied him up, stupidly before shutting stable door, he decided that he didn't want to be in stable (it was his tea time and he wanted that, rather than to go for a hack) so charged back out - unfortunately I and my leg where in the way :-( so he dragged lead rope up and down my leg before the baler twine broke. Bliming hurts!!! Not his fault, he's a right stubborn whatsit sometimes and I should of shut stable door straight away.

Now a hobbly person xxxx

OUCH! You have my sympathy, I've had friction burns on my hands before from other peoples horses (one ripped my gloves apart >_<) I can totally empathise. Hope you feel better soon.

Ouchy! Hope it's not too sore for you.

Mine headbutted me by accident on the shoulder blade today. She's taken to resting her head on my shoulder and I'd crouched down to check her leg (a bit obsessive about checking for sores with her having problems with mites), she was half asleep and didn't realise my shoulder wasn't there and her head dropped much to her surprise :D

It's pretty sore at the minute and feel I may have a spectacular bruise tomorrow. I sometimes think he forgets his own strength and thinks he's a Shetland and not a shire x cob

I feel your pain. I have a scar on the back of my left hand from a lead rope burn. Look ages to heal. They hurt dont they!!!
