Oxford area - best place to look for an equestrian property?

It's looking increasingly likely that I may need to move to the Oxford area for work so I'd like to have a think about where to move to. I'd be looking to buy an equestrian property to keep the horses at home and would like to know the best area to look, preferably within a 20-30 mile radius of Oxford itself. I know that's likely to be expensive but I'd be flexible about size/location if it meant I could continue to have the horses at home.

Any suggestions - either places to avoid or places to look?

I look on prime location, rural scene and right move mainly. Butler Sherbourne do lots of cotswolds properties, but not often ones with land. I would call up estate agents that cover the area and let them know what you are after. A lovely place to live, but unless you are talking mega bucks, then not an awful lot of properties with enough land to keep a horse or two on come to the market (since when does 1/3rd of an acre give you an equestrian property!!).
Good luck!

Cross the border in to a neighbouring county and the price and availability may be more favourable, Northamptonshire or Wiltshire may be good bets

I live in Northamptonshire and can be in Oxford in 40 minutes
