Oxfordshire people...

Hi guys,

I have just been offered a rather good job in Oxfordshire - a few miles north of Oxford in a very pretty village, just off the A34.

So its decision time...can anyone give me any tips on good livery yards, how much there is going on around there in terms of eventing, BSJA, BD etc and even where is a nice affordable place to live?!

i live in west oxon, north of oxford prob the more affordable housing is closer to brackley and bicester, not too bad a drice to oxford from there either. closest sj venues would be malthouse centre and blewbury centre. eventing/bd well plenty around and oxford is nicely central for lots easy to get to berkshire south down the A34 or north to warwickshire and to Wiltshire on A420 so loads of links there. which village will you be in?my brother lives in Islip so prob pretty close.

I would be working in Weston on Green - very close to Islip.

Do you know of any yards around there?
