Basically what the title says, I'm looking for tack stores in Oxfordshire and those just outside of it as well.

Preferably ones that carry a range of different brands (hats and footwear mostly), as I need to try and find something that suits and fits :)

Depends which bit of Oxfordshire you're in.

I have limited experience but these are the two I've used:

There is a fab warehouse type place in Long Crendon, just over the border - Two Times Tack. It's not open all week but it has fab bargains (they specialise in buying up bankrupt type stock). They have a website and a facebook page and when I took my kids to have hats fitted, the chap there took ages to make sure they had the right fit.

Country Equestrian in Poundon (I think that counts as Bucks not Oxon) also has a good range and they were great fitting me with a hat. I dont think they have a website.

I haven't been to either for actual tack yet but will be shortly...!

I found that country equestrian was only really helpful if you wanted a champion hat. And champion alone! Even then the only adult hats stocked were the advantage and ventair.

Two time tack is fab and I go most weekends however again not strong on hats. They have a wide plethora of boots tho, new and second hand. You get a large discount on the big brands too such as toggi. I picked up a lovely sabre bridle there on Friday for £30. Brand new too!

Funnily enough... I think my hat is a Champion :D I din't notice what other makes (if any) CE had.

Two Times... I think their stock varies so much doesn't it. When I needed hats for my kids we ended up with two Charles Owens at about £20 off rrp. Maybe I was there on a weekend where the hat stocks were good! (I think they had just had a load in).

I need new boots (my lovely Aquatacs were bought pre-pregnancy and I think my feet must have spread) so will pay TTT a visit this week.... they did seem to have a good choice.

If you're not far from Henley, then there's lots of shops - start at Equestrian World atManor Farm in Peppard, then Eileen Douglas have a branch at Friars Park in Henley, Jods Galore in Bell Street in the town centre (lovely staff excellent fitters of hats although not masses of brands in stock they are very good, got my Champion from there) and finally Countrywide at Twyford just by the A4 have a few. You could do a round trip incorporating all those and if time round it off with a trip to Millwheel in Binfield Road at Wokingham and another branch of Eileen Douglas (much bigger, far more stock) also in Wokingham in Easthampsted Road. Should easily be able to fit visiting all those in one morning if you know the back roads and don't spend too long browsing!

Further afield you could try Robinsons in Basingstoke - they've lots of choice and plenty of stock and I was told have a sale starting next week I believe (detour either via Scats just off A33 at Bramley, or via either one or both of Centell in Tilehurst - not too bad from Whitchurch toll bridge, Total Equestrian in Thatcham and / or Horse and Rider in Ashford Hill Road, Headley then down the A 34 to Basingstoke.

Oh dear, sounds like I am a tack shop junkie!

Thank you for all them.
I'm top part of Oxfordshire, but I'll end up all over at some point, so it doesn't matter too much where about it is :)
I'm not in a rush to get the stuff either, have to get fit and lose the extra weight after two years of surgery/recovery, though if there is a sale on I might go and get some, and the rest later :D

I mainly asked for those who carry different brands as my head is a different shape from most (majority = round, minority/mine = oval - I think?), so the ones that only have a small selection don't tend to have the right fit for me.
