I am taking one of my yearlings to her first show tomorrow and she gets very tense about things and can sometimes get overly silly. Just wondering if it works as i have never used it before and if it would be a good idea? Thanks

I have used it on a young mare who disliked travelling & it worked a treat. The trick is to give it - then leave the horse alone for 30mins, to give it a chance to work. Good luck!!

I know a couple of people who have tried it with effect but I use it on my mare who is a real stress-head at shows and it does seem to take the edge off of her.

I tried it with one of mine and noticed no difference. Be careful if you're using the syringes - they make a noise when you push on the lever thingy into the horses mouth. Mine practically fainted when I did it! And you have to do it very slowly or it just gushes out of their mouth (its basically salt water...).
