Ozzy arrived yesterday and settled well the field with pony. Went up this morning, brought them in and tried tack. I decided not to try and get on (previous hideous accident and broken pelvis makes me a bit wary) so eldest daughter was volunteered - in all fairness, she was itching to!
He stood like a rock when got on (that's a relief) and they decided to play it safe and ride in the field. Sam (ADHD pony) started mucking about, so youngest said she'd rather go out. So off they went and Ozzy carried on as if nothing was happening. She only walked and trotted for 15 mins and he was foot perfect (well he tripped once). Daughter can't wait to take him out hacking now!
Such a relief after last disaster purchase and something for me to focus on while having my chemo.
