I'm taking my 3 year old to the Ponies Uk Championships next week, it is my first time going. My class isn't until later in the day, and I have been trying to work out what sort of time it will be on.

How does it run? Does it run late? Average time per class? Do a lot of people turnout? Many entries per class? I know all of these questions are a 'how long is a piece of string' type question and answer, but I just wondered if there was a rule of thumb with P(UK) Championships?

For example, the three county shows I went to this year, had timetabled times, and ran between 1.5 and 2.5 hours late! My youngster was far from impressed, *mutters* the impatient little monkey that he is! :o

Your experiences are hugely welcomed! xx :)

There is a link on the website with the number of entries in each class which gives you a rough idea of how long things may take. If you have a class later on there should be a not before time on the schedule/timetable. Like with my Forester one year it was not before 3pm. I love Ponies UK :D I've been 5 times.

Ah, I didn't realise they did that. Thank you for the info TelH, muchly appreciated. I will have a gander at their site and see what is what. I'm fortunate, as I only live an hour-ish away from Arena UK, but I worry in case the little one has a diva strop if we're waiting about too long. He copes with an hour of hanging about, and then that is that!

Great to hear you have been so frequent and enjoyed it! Starting to look forward to it now! xx :D

Just one little observation...don't turn up at Arena UK cos Ponies UK is at Newark showground :p :D

Oh for fecks sake! LMAO! I have done that twice this year thinking a show was somewhere it is not! Reading too many ruddy schedules and confusing myself! HEAD:BRICKWALL! :o

Thank you for pointing that out! Luckily for me, I use the trusty ol' sat nav anyway an usually get the post code off the schedule the night before! xx :D
