Pachesham xc,the beast did me proud!!but venue SUCKS!!!

Thought id do the open today on my boy @pachesham.change of course/jumps since i was last there a few yrs ago.A few beefed up jumpies with rather large ditches!! (unusual for unafil)BUT Percy was very bold and i now have streering and brakes!!! went clr,very happy mummy)was hoping to coll a nice frilly as only 6 clrs i think,but the fOOkers had got it wrong AGAIN and the stupid jump judge at water had put me down 4 a stop,when infact we ploughed thro with no stops or probs...(this has happened to me B4 there 3 yrs ago). Cue very angry LouLou as percy was so good,Lady wudnt have it tho,results already gone up even though the girl b4me admitted it was her horse to stop not mine,(she got placed ,so prob my frilly)BUT they refused to change results(a8seholes).SO a defo not go there again but a very pleased Lou as Percy loves xc yeahhhhhhhhhh.Got pics but have NO idea how to use photo-bucket??.At least i had a good time on xc,even tho the results were WRONG!!!

What a pain about the rosette!!! That has happened to me before and is so frustrating!!! If i was the girl who got placed but had actually had a stop i would've told organiser and given up my place.....have no interest in placings i dont deserve.

Oh well done Lou, but I can’t believe that, what compete *******! Never mind you know Percy is a XC machine, but still not nice to lost out on a rosette! Let me know when you are XC schooling again, really want to get out for another play!

lovely venue but obv not run that well,lady was so rude and didnt give a sh*te wat jump judge had put,wasnt interested!! tho they do alot of affil stuff!! ah well,their loss,i wont be going again!!

Lou are you doin the Brightlinng hunter trial on the 3rd? Or Chilham on 17th May...they have clear round sj on grass as well as they xc so def doing that

was going to do Brightling ht(are u??)BUT wud pref chilham with the SJ! B8gger,whys is there always 2 good places to go on 1 date or nothing to do at-all!! Yes to Bordehill hun,ur my new intro buddy so u best be there.Wish there was an intro in april or begin of may for us!! i miss matt in may due to a s**ding wedding in Italy we cant get out of(very inconsiderate of them),just get back in-time for bordex
 
Brightling and Chilham aren't the same weekend, one 3rd and one 17th so do them both!!!

Thats what i'm doing. Only small class at Brightling as will be 1st xc outing this year and 2nd ever!! The middle one at Chilham so should be nice build up to Borde Hill....fingers crossed!!! Will be very useful to do sj at Chilham too.

Blue has to go clear xc or Lou&percy take the new lorry home,deal????.!!! RIGHT,i need my beauty sleep 4sure!!!! SOOOO pleased its a bank hol 2mrw,i hate work at mo.

well done you! they are shite there though. i reduse to go after the fiasco over the cancelled hunter trial last yr - i did eventually get all my money back (minus £3 for admin) but what a hassle, plus they still pocketed everyone else's dosh. really want to see the piccies! PS - if you're ever XC schooling and dont mind company we'd love to come

Well done you. That girl who realised she had a stop but it wasn't recorded should have gone to the sec and told them so. I'm not sure why you would keep quiet when you know it's falsely won.
 
Hi, nopt sure where you're based but I did Pachesham last year when the hunter trial was cancelled and they organised a so called Eventers Challenge.......was very disappointed with the attitude and management as the facility was good but was apalled with the way it was handelled. Warlingham and District have their hunter trials in spring and autumn around the same time as Pachesham and it is quite a nice one. It is in Warlingham, which is near Westerham, on the Surrey border into Kent. I went their yesterday and though it was dense fog, the event was well organised and had a good day. May be worth a look if you're unimpressed by Pachesham.
 
i saw on Pachesahm website some small unaff ODE's (im always on the look out for anything small sized!) but sounds like not worth the trek as its not very local to me.

Glad percy went well though!! See you at Chilham on 17th may???
