Hi
Was just packing my lorry up for an endurance ride tomorrow.
Would be interested to hear what others take with them for competitions
My list is
Haynet and spare haynet
3 water canisters
Fleece
Thin Turnout rug
Tack
Hat
Boots
Half chaps
Gloves
Spare headcollar and leadrope
First aid kit
Various bandages
2 lunge lines
Chiffney for emergency
Various brushes, sponges etc
Passports
Buckets
Horse!
hmmm cant think of anything else!

you said first aid kit - just wanted to expand and say for both you and your horse.

A spare set of jodpurs might be a good idea. Sweat rug & sweat scraper?

sure my brain will churn out a few more :)

Feed bucket and a small amount of feed, just in case a normaly good loader has a funny five minutes. Back protector. Emergency phone numbers with vet details written down just in case you loose your mobile.

Have a good day:)

ooooh spare jods is a good one, its a long way to travel back with a wet bum if it rains!
Its funny how we worry about having a first aid kit for the neds, where as it hadn't even crossed my mind to get one for myself! although I think the one I have has a few bits for humans!
Spare reins is also a good idea. Thanks!

Oh I love these :D

Coat hangars
Boot polish
Hairbrush
Spare hairnets/hairbands/clips
Dustpan and brush
Hoofpick
Babywipes
Tack cleaner
Spare bits of all clothing :D
Spare saddle cloth
Spare tie
Nail file
Scissors
Nail scissors
Toothpicks

...and loads more lol Our lorry used to groan when she saw us coming lol

Don't know where your off too but the way the weather is at the moment you might want to take a waterproof!

I always used to take bail-a-twine to shows!

Food and some nice wine in the fridge , and if you have a shower in your lorry shower gel and towels a full gas bottle and water tank I hate it when it runs out just when you've got the soap on !!!! because a certain person who will remane nameless for now. used most of it on her horse, Grrr!!!!

Don't forget the horse......you laugh, but years ago I knew of someone who did just that.....a few years ago an esssential when competing was the potty for the youngest child!
