Hi,

I have a black TBxIDxSHIRE (more of a TB build at the moment) anyway, i am looking for a new bridle for him as his lovely Sabre Eton Bridle is getting a bit worn after 7 years of everyday use. I love it and would like to get another Sabre or similar. Does anyone have ant recommendations. i love the look of the stubben 1800 but never been keen on stubben. He does alot of Dressage up to Novice. Also, i own him but he has been on loan just over a year and i ride every so often, he used to be light on my hands but now he has become so heavy and pulling any suggestions?

Many thanks

I love Jefferies too

Me too, looks great after years of use! Only gripe is it only comes with the flash as standard. I had to order a plain cavesson noseband specially and wait a bit extra for the bridle to arrive. Seems daft to me that a flash comes as 'standard' these days and you have to plead and beg for a plain noseband to be supplied.

yes i know, i prefer them without but the people who have my boy on loan use it alot, i dont know weather its that making him so heavy on the hands or how the people have been riding him, he used to be so easy and light.

Love my Jeffries one too, the padded head piece is cut away from the base of his ears for extra comfort. I have the plain noseband too, hate flash ones. Leather is high quality and it will last years.

I love love love my albion bridle, certainly not cheap but worth it imho. Can get with cavesson easily. My boy seems very comfortable in his, its padded and cut away behind the ears :)
