Hi I've got the Derriere and they do protect me well. I need some more and have noticed the Equetech ones. they do a primo which just covers the front fork area and the plus which do the seat as well. Has anyone tried both makes and can advise, please. The Derriere are v expensive in comparison. I need the gusset protection area rather than seat bones.

Hi, I have 6 pair of the equetech, 2 classic which have no padding for short rides and when weather hot, 2 pairs plus which have both padded areas, I use these when I’m riding for longer and need more protection, and 2 pair primo which is front seat padded only. I also use a gel in acavello seat saver for more protection, I haven’t been sore now for a couple of years so obviously work very well. I used to get quite tender and often got blisters but not any more very pleased worth paying for, I usually get mine new from eBay as sometimes have cheaper prices than the tack shops.
